Audiobook Review + Giveaway: Montana Maidens series by Vanessa Vale

by Vanessa Vale Genres: Erotica Source: Audiobook A Quick Series Review These four books were fun, quick, and fast. I listened to them all over one weekend. If you are in the mood for straight up erotica then these might be the books for you.  If dubious consent doesn’t bother you, and you don’t mind being a little shocked then these books might be for you. Even though the stories take place during wild west times, the setting doesn’t come into play very much because the plot completely focuses on sex.  I love, love, love audiobooks and listening to great narrators. Now I wouldn’t call any of the narrators in this series exceptional, but some were better than others. I did not like the narrators of book #2 at all, especially the male narration. Books #1 and #3 were my favorites.  Giveaway– The publisher has graciously given us copies of all […]

Audiobook Reviews: Deeper & Harder by Robin York

by Robin York Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance Source: Audiobook Series Review I can’t even express how surprised I am by these two audiobooks. I was not expecting to love them so much. The author hit an out of the park homerun with these two characters (Caroline and West) that she created, and her writing was excellent. So impressed! “I want you, and I don’t know how to stop wanting you. I want to get deep inside you, and then deeper, until I’m so deep I don’t even know what’s me anymore and what’s you.” If you follow my reviews and the books I read, then you may have noticed I very rarely read college new adult romances anymore. I really got burnt out on the tropes of the genre. However, these books felt fresh to me even though it’s a story about a rich girl and a boy from […]

Winners & Flops: All the Books I Read in November

Winners & Flops: All the Books I Read in November

Source: Audiobook, ebook I basically took off the entire month of November from reading ARCs and writing formal reviews with a couple of exceptions. I’m super surprised by how many books I could read in one month. It was so much fun reading/listening to book after book with basically no pause. And, reading so many different genres was also a blast. Thought I’d post a quick rundown and the rating I gave each one.  Mostly I listened to audiobooks using the Overdrive app with a few ebooks mixed in. Maybe you will find a book or two to add to your TBR. So, what books did I read?   Audiobooks: • The McCabe Trilogy by Maya Banks (Historical Romance) – 4.5/5 STARS! Ignore the cheesy covers because this series was the bomb diggity. Each book in the trilogy is a different McCabe brother’s love story. These guys a hot Scottish alphas! The […]
