 worth the fight

Enjoy this song from the playlist while you read my review:

In this final installment of the series Accidentally on Purpose…

Luke Kessler loved Emmy.

She broke his heart.

Then she revealed a life altering secret that brought them back together.
Time and forgiveness heal old wounds and love flourishes. Luke and Emmy find themselves reaching for a happily ever after together. When their pasts begin to push into their present and hurtful mistakes are made, the couple struggle with each other and their past demons. How much is too much? Will the couple be able to fight their way to a happily ever after? Are their lives together worth the fight?

 my review:

I LOVE this series!! There is just something about the details LD writes about that I relate to. Whether its a sex scene 😉 or  song she adds I just connect with her books and characters.

Who knew all this stuff was going on with Luke. Good thing she gave us this book so we could see everything through Luke’s eyes. All the shit he put up with, and how much it broke him.

“I hope Kyle Sterling rips your heart out of your chest and makes you choke on it.”

YIKES^^

I love the real life story line. They go through the fights, babies, self doubts all the highs and lows. Just like a real life marriage. In the end they are each others fate no matter what obstacle they go through.

“People like to tell those they love that they have their heart, but I can’t say that because that wouldn’t be true. You dont have my heart because you are my heart and you are my lungs. Without you I am dark and hollow inside. Without you I can’t breath. Without you I don’t have a reason to breathe. You light up the darkness, Em, and you fill in the hollowness. You give me sweet, refreshing breath. You are the oxygen that my body cant ever be without. Emmy, you are…life, my life, and without you I am dead.”

With all that love LD gives us she really knows how to write some hot as hell sex scenes:

“Oh, Emmy,” I panted as I held my cock deep within her mouth. When I pulled out again she hurriedly and eagerly said “Fuck my mouth. Fuck it hard and fast.”

LOL say what?!?! Wars would end if all women were more  like Emmy 😉

You have to read LD’s  letter to her readers at the end. Love that she explains her reason behind writing Luke’s book. Plus the sneak peek we get on what she is working on next. I am VERY excited for that 😉

Excerpt:

“Are you really going to wear that shirt while you make love to me?” she asked, letting her eyes fall on the shirt I had forgotten I had on.

I looked down at my shirt, too and frowned. I could take the shirt off, but I hadn’t realized it was so offensive.

“Stripes,” she snorted, shaking her head. “You’re so lucky that I know what I’m getting under that hideous shirt.”

I laughed now. More of our earlier conversation had followed us into the bedroom.

“Go ahead and laugh,” she said primly. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to have an orgasm while running my hands up and down your horizontal lines.”F***
