Circe Quinn goes to sleep at home and wakes up in a corral filled with women wearing sacrificial virgin attire - and she is one of them. She soon finds out that she’s not having a wild dream, she’s living a frightening nightmare where she’s been transported to a barren land populated by a primitive people and in short order, she’s installed very unwillingly on her white throne of horns as their Queen.

Dax Lahn is the king of Suh Tunak, The Horde of the nation of Korwahk and with one look at Circe, he knows she will be his bride and together they will start The Golden Dynasty of legend.

Circe and Lahn are separated by language, culture and the small fact she’s from a parallel universe and has no idea how she got there or how to get home. But facing challenge after challenge, Circe finds her footing as Queen of the brutal Korwahk Horde and wife to its King, then she makes friends then she finds herself falling in love with this primitive land, its people and especially their savage leader.

5 Golden Stars!

Warriors – King – Queen – Magic – Fantasy

This was the best Kristen Ashley book I have ever read, and it’s one of my top favorite reads PERIOD. I freakin’ L-O-V-E-D it, and I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to keep living in Circe and Lahn’s world.

The title of this series is named Fantasyland which is perfect because THE GOLDEN DYNASTY was pure fantasy I’d wish to come true. I’m still living this book in my head. It was hot and had the feels and, of course a sexy alpha!

“My tigress, you sit astride me leaking my seed in my lap, you do not have to call my name.”

I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan, and it was pretty obvious Khaleesi and Drogo were the author’s muses for this story. I kept picturing them in my head as I read. Their love story was so very tragic, so I like to imagine they got their happily ever after through The Golden Dynasty.

***I must warn you that the setting takes place during barbaric times. Some elements of the story were brutal, but I don’t feel the author took it over the top. If you can handle a TV show like Game of Thrones then the content of this book will be a piece of cake for you. 😉

About Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana, and has lived in Denver, Colorado, and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multigenerational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland, and Kristen grew up listening to the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon, and Whitesnake. Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
