As the head of the government’s secret Vigilance spy program, computer guru China Mack already has her hands full when her billionaire boyfriend, Jackson Cooper, asks for one of them in marriage.
Thrown for a loop by the sudden proposal, China’s usually well-ordered life takes another hit when someone tries to assassinate the president. Even that comes with a shocking twist: the primary suspect is none other than her ex-partner, Clark Slattery. With nowhere else to turn, the sexy loner needs China’s help and expertise. Clark has linked the assassination attempt to a failed secret operation undertaken six years ago—and a deadly cover-up that’s putting the leader of the free world in the crosshairs. But the president isn’t the only one in harm’s way.
Now, China is going to have to dig deep for information that’s beyond even her clearance. And what she discovers may have far-reaching consequences for her life and everyone else in it.
Review:
The Corrupted Hearts characters have really grown on me. Especially Clark, Mia and of course, China. I like the many layers of Clark’s complexity. You never know if you can truly trust him. The author keeps giving nuggets of his back story. Clark has a bad boy persona, but also vulnerabilites. Mia has matured so much and become a best friend and sister to China. China becomes a little bit of a bad ass in this book. I’m proud of her and the self-confidence she is building.
I always say Tiffany Snow writes the best tension between characters. Find Me is no exception. I gobbled up all the push and pull between Jackson, China, and Clark. Tiffany also has her characters in very intense and dangerous situations that keeps her readers biting their nails. I enjoyed all of that so much.
Towards the end of the book I did notice some inconsistencies that maybe should have been addressed in editing. View Spoiler »
Find Me is my favorite of the series so far. Can’t wait for the next book. Oh, and I’m still TEAM CLARK. Sorry Jackson.
