Brant:
Became a tech billionaire by his twentieth birthday. Has been in a relationship with me for 3 years.
Has proposed 4 times. Been rejected 4 times.

Lee:
Cuts grass when he’s not banging housewives. Good with his hands, his mouth, and his cock. Has been pursued relentlessly by me for almost 2 years, whether he knows it or not.

Go ahead. Judge me. You have no idea what my love entails.

If you think you’ve heard this story before, trust me – you haven’t.

REVIEW:

“I love her completely. She returns the love wildly. This love is worth the unsaid truths. The hidden lies.”

I’m not sure where to being with reviewing Black Lies, so what I write might not make much sense. This book involves three people in a relationship yet I would not classify it as a love triangle, exactly. Black Lies is…different. The story is twisted, and it will definitely play tricks on your mind.

‘The best laid plans still deserve a purpose. I need to find mine.’

The book will keep you guessing. It will have you questioning all the characters and their  motives. You will come up with all these theories in your head at what “the secret” might be. You may guess right and you may guess wrong.

“You like this don’t you? Being my whore while he pays your bills? Letting me use every inch of your body and sending you back to him ruined?”

I can tell you this, I’ve read many twisted books, but I have never read one quite like this one. Alessandra Torre continues to surprise me with her original erotic storytelling.  Needless to say, I am very impressed with Black Lies, and I definitely recommend it if you’re okay being left with a book hangover.
