Corrado Moretti.

The world knows the notorious Kevlar Killer, but few have ever seen what lies beneath his armor. The abused child. The neglected teenager. The broken man. He always did whatever he had to do in order to survive.

It's kill or be killed.

Throughout his life, he has been there in the shadows, a witness to everything from beginning to end. Bound by loyalty and honor, there's only one thing he would sacrifice it all for: family.

Never get close. Never get attached. It's a lesson that has been brutally pounded into him since childhood, but they're words the DeMarcos make it difficult for him to follow. Through them he finds love and grieves loss, realizing the world isn't quite as black and white as it's made out to be.

Made is a prequel from Forever Series. But my advice to you read this series in the order it was released!

This is the book of Corrado Moretti one of the badest mofo’s in the Mob! I wasnt sure about Corrado in Sempre, but by the 2nd book Sempre Redemption I needed to know more about this mysteriously and commanding character!

When I finished this book I was a barrel of emotions! I love Corrado so much I can’t even tell you. Watching him grow from boy to mob capo was one hell of a journey. The author painted it perfectly for me. I was right there in the story. I swear at one point I had to message a friend to talk me through. Lol! I had to call for emotional back-up!

JM Darhower did NOT sugar coat any part of this story, and that is why I think I loved it so much. She got down to the nitty gritty of the La Cosa Nostra ,the parts where your lke oh no she went there! It was very intense.

But as intimidating he was to everyone the one person who he let his guard down for was the DeMarco’s, but one very special one he let in, his love Celia. He learned at a young age to never let anyone in, never get attached. But Celia was a very stubborn and maybe a little spoiled she never gave up on him. From that comes one of the best and loyal love stories out there.

“Do you believe me when I tell you there’s noting more beautiful in the world?” She hesitated “You make me want to.”

I seriously HATED his mother and sister! The things his mother put him through and how cold hearted she was made me want to hug him, poor little Corrado never had a chance 🙁

Take my advice read this book! I couldn’t recommend it anymore. By far the best mafia series out there. Just be warned this is not a romance. We do get a love story but there is so much more to his character, pure perfection!

“Blood in, blood out. Rules are rules.”
