Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros
This book was such a sweet surprise and I absolutely loved it! It’s a story about a military family and the aftermath of a tragedy. December is home from college and not only has to come to terms with what happened, but must also pick up the pieces of her family who is struggling. Josh, oh sweet Josh. I fell in love with him in an instant. He’s a former bad boy hockey player who was also December’s high school crush. He’s now her little brother’s hockey coach and becomes the rock that she much needs. This author did such a fabulous job of letting me take this ride with these characters. I could literally feel their pain and that is what made this book so special to me. I enjoyed it from the very beginning till the very end. It also made me really appreciate the sacrifice and hardships of our military families. This was a
Solid 5 star read for me.
