I lie to survive.
Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.
Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.
I kill for a living.
Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I've played her game for far too long. Now I think it's time we play mine.
Well, Ms. Rose has knocked it out of the park again with Perfect Chaos. She has a knack for writing raw stories that suck you right onto the pages. I felt like I was living side by side with her characters. I was completely submersed in their dark and gritty world.
I’ve loved Nashoda’s Tear Asunder books, but who I’ve really been waiting for is DECK! And he did not disappoint! That man is one badass MOFO. He is even more delicious than what I thought he was going to be.
‘He was looking at me as if he’d devour me, and it turned me on so goddamn much the moisture between my legs became wet and shivers became trembles.’
Deck has been Georgie’s constant protector for ten years, since her brother died when she was only sixteen. HOLY SEXUAL TENSION! These two have some major chemistry sparking between them. It has been burning for years and to see them finally give in to their yearnings is freakin’ erotic.
“No Talking.” He gripped the back of my hair pulled. “But screaming… that’s allowed.”
I want Deck! Have you seen this book cover?!
Perfect Chaos has it all. It’s slightly dark, suspenseful, deeply emotional, and offers twists you will not see coming. The words “The End” came too soon, and I was left panting for more. I cannot wait to read the next book in the Unyielding series.
