When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan's romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they're forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they'll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks

“…I can feel something building-something shining and explosive and just out of reach-I can never grasp it. It’s like I’m hovering on the edge of a sneeze, and I’m inhaling and inhaling and inhaling, but the orgasmic exhale never comes. Literally.”

That is how I felt through most of this book and I enjoyed every second of it!
Sometimes I think after reading so many NA books my senses have dulled. Its like this author has ripped off the band aide and all my feels are oozing angst, frustration and excitement.

Cassie and Ethan meet at acting school. She is the naive girl, out on her own for the first time. He is the mysterious, bad boy. Once they are cast as Romeo and Juliet, the chemistry is off the charts. Cassie finally breaks through Ethan’s walls and they give in to their feelings, only to have Ethan totally betray her. Years later they meet up again on stage and things have changed, roles are reversed. Cassie has a stone wall up, to guard her heart.

“Sometimes people put up walls, not only to keep people out, but also to see who cares enough to tear them down.”

The heroine stole the show in this book. There is nothing I love more than falling for the leading lady in the story. Cassie has the funniest personality I mean the internal dialogue this girl has is AWESOME! I loved her honesty and forwardness, she goes after what she wants, even if its crazy awkward. Trust me when I say you will love her.

Ethan…hmmm…what can I say about Ethan. Well first off he drove me FLUFFING CRAZY! I have not been so frustrated with a character in soooo long. He is very mysterious and has some relationship issues. Don’t get me wrong I still adored him and his cocky self. When I read about the grown up Ethan, whoa buddy, talk about being swept off my feet. Boy knows what he wants and will stop at nothing!

I felt like I had goose bumps most of this book. My adrenaline was pumping and I HAD to know what was next! If you love angst and second chance love, then this book is for you. I must add that the writing is great! It all flowed very well. Not only was it sexy and angsty, it was super funny. Cassie and Ethan have a great banter. Trust me when I say you will love it! Cant wait for more form Leisa Rayven.

“Nervous and calm at the same time. Crazy and serene. Feral and civilized. Just having you near me makes me forget about all the crap we’ve been through and just…”
His expression turns hungry.
“Just bury myself inside you and forget about everything. Make our past go away.”

Side note: Thanks to my blogger friends who calmed me down, once I finished this book. I was on a total book high and it was hard to come down. LOL!
